Really? It's better to just state a black & white, bottom-line view, without nuance or explanation? How would that respect you, or your time or attention? How would it, in fact, say anything meaningful at all?
Do you want to be right on the merits or portrayed as right on the 7 o clock evening news? Or being correct but the avg reader needs to catch up on about a 3 volumes of existing lore. I don’t know why *some* advocates for Palestinian freedom act as if they’re unaware of our existing media biases.
I will say, I appreciate the honesty here that the current radical majority on the Supreme Court has zero respect for precedent and has just made up a brand new standard of "history and tradition" and then invented bullshit versions of history to fit that.
