This episode rocks. Just hearing someone else react to this BS the same way that I do makes me feel better. Then there's also great context and analysis from some great hosts.

Masks Are a Symbol of Solidarity. Don’t Let Democrats Take Them Away.www.thenation.com Mask bans are ostensibly about public safety. The result would be disastrous for public health—but it goes beyond that, too.

Launching this at Columbia says a lot (great @deathpanel.bsky.social on mask bans that gets into why: soundcloud.com/deathpanel)
The "Unmask Hate" coalition, a new group pushing NYC to ban mask-wearing at protests, launched its campaign today outside Columbia, site of recent pro-Palestinian protests. The group includes leaders from the ADL, National Urban League, and UJA-Federation of NY. (via Rebecca C. Lewis, City & State)

If, like me, you live in NC and voted for Roy Cooper, please take 2 minutes this morning to call the Governor’s office and demand a veto on HB237, “unmasking mobs and criminals.” 919-814-2000. Yes, the supermajority may override the veto. Don’t let them have this without a fight.
