I kinda feel like there's just a lot of nihilistic lonely guys out there and while sometimes they fall into radical politics, sometimes they just like to shoot people in public.

People will look very hard to find coherent politics but this strikes me as a Las Vegas shooter situation, where ultimately you're just gonna find a violent dipshit who flipped a coin and decided to try this rather than shooting up a mall or school.
