something that folks need to break the habit of, especially if they're interacting with people *they don't know* or do not speak english as a first language, is playful rudeness. 'delete this' or 'i hate you' does not translate well if you're a stranger. otherwise silly comments are fine.

Back in the Twitter days, I know some artists were like "Replies help engagement!" So I tried to leave a silly little comment but sometimes I felt like a goofball for doing it so I always ask artists: Benign or silly comments to art: yes or no?

So has INPRNT actually fixed the payout issue yet or has everyone just given up talking about it

is cara even a *real* art site yet if it doesn't have a furry category 🤔

you know, instead of making moral judgements about content (outside of obviously harmful and illegal things), you could stop writing essays about what an artist you're not paying should or shouldn't do, just seek out the kinds of media you want, and ignore what you don't

If you're neurodivergent a lot of writing advice runs counter to how you function. You know your brain better than anyone else, you've been living in there your whole life. If you need noise to focus and panic at the thought of rigid structure, put on music and don't worry about an outline.

Okay, so I'm going to post a thread now about using Clip Studio Paint, about color settings, ICC color profiles, outputting to CMYK, getting 100% K in your blacks, etc. Technical shit. truly one of the worst things that ever happened to fandom was therapy language becoming ubiquitous enough it could be weaponized to permanently win what were previously low stakes forum arguments

what i feel like a lot of these responses is: published media takes time and there was (and still is) a glut of misinformation about covid. remember how long US agencies insisted it couldn't possibly be airborne? and you want Batman to center a plot on that politically motivated lie?

Maybe I'm a crank but I'm sorry, this is insane
