Trump's tweets may not have put him behind bars for contempt, but they just made his lawyers' lives harder.
Reporters in the courtroom relay that prosecutors refused to extend the normal courtesy of telling the defense which witnesses are coming up because Trump tweets about it. Fine says judge.
Oh, those sound lovely! My sister, whom I live with and who does virtually all the cooking, has become both vegetarian and gluten free, and dinners are often quite grim and boring as a result. I don't mind one or the other, but combined it seems to be a fairly lethal to taste and diversity.
Oh how I hope, just to mess with them, they bring in one that no one expected to be among the first three. Even if it's just a bluff, to make Trump's lawyers sweat. "Wait, who is this guy? Oh f*&# I have no idea what he's going to say!"
Literally the only reason he may finally face any justice at all in his entire life is that he's becoming too senile and drug-dependent to either talk his way out of it or maintain his silence. This man may just actually FORCE the US legal system to punish a wealthy white man, through incompetence
The fact that the judge didn't laugh out loud at them for "What if we commit president Trump won't tweet about them?" is an epic level of judicial restraint
I'm convinced his lawyers must just be addicted to adrenaline spikes, like trauma surgeons, or something. They can't control their client at all & he won't pay them.
