Wow. Really? The whole fucking point of what happened in France is that people voted for the option that, in the first round, was NOT the option they liked. But they put that fact aside to defeat the fascists. And honestly if you don't understand that you need to read a book or ten.
As an aside, I've been sharing this excerpt from the NPR story about the French election. I already have people in my mentions saying, "See, more moderates yielded to the far left and look what happened!" Even today as we have something to give us hope all some people can see is division.

I hate to break the news to you boy genius, but you have read my mind incorrectly. I think Tapper fully understood his role as it had been agreed to by both parties. He also understood that Trump was full of shit. But gee...Trump being full of shit seems to have been missed by the media.
So Trump gets a pass from CNN for all of the insane things he says just because...why, exactly? Because he's not trying to prove he's sane? He can just go on saying insane shit but as long as he doesn't agree to an interview the media can just ignore it? You gotta' be kidding.
