Just a big LOL at the idea that legal ethics education is the need here.

Right?! And I hope he doesn’t get to choose where he does his community service.
He'll probably claim that working as Attorney General counts as community service.
Avatar
In Texas offenders choose their own community service unless a specific service is ordered by a judge.

i'm sure he will just donate $ for hours.

Texas will re-elect him. They really should make good on their threats and secede.

How about 15 million hours of legal ethics education? It won't do any good, but it would keep him busy.

Love my corrupt attorney general getting away with corruption while persecuting women. Absolutely love it.

Shouldn’t a State’s AG already have enough legal knowledge not to break the law?

…thus proving that there are, in fact, two separate justice systems: one for the rich and one for everyone else.

Love that the state AG needs to take a few days of "legal ethics education." All very normal. Very Texas.
Avatar
Surprised prosecutors didn't throw in a blowjob while they were at it.

They have professional standards! There's only one set of knee pads for them to wear; you wouldn't want them to have to *share* those, would you?
Avatar
Keeps his job and his law license. Wow, that'll teach him a lesson, especially that two days of legal ethics education. If your AG NEEDS 15 hours of legal ethics education, you're basically putting a bandaid on a broken leg.

…no guillotine? ☹️

Worthless. He shouldn’t get to make a deal like this.

Boy, I wonder why so many people have no faith in the American justice system. It's a real stumper.

Oh the poor fucker who has to "ethics educate" him... Although if they can pass/fail him on it, it might be much funnier.

Our fucken justice system is a disgrace

Glad to see equal treatment under the law of folk in the land of Texas.

I’m going to light my Texas law license on fire because what even is the fucking point any more

Legal ethics education? Because maybe there's some ethics he hasn't violated yet, and he needs to find out how to fix that?

So, after Trump yesterday, now this… what a disgrace the justice system is in the US, truly disgusting and demoralizing, fascists and criminals are easily winning and this country as we knew is gonna be over soon.

This bring the South, is this a name of a publication or a politician? Not Paxton, the other one

The “Justice System” in this country is a joke.

Truly there is no justice in Texas.

This is why I am moving out of this fucked up country.

That's a small price for committing securities fraud. Wonder what his victims think?
