You do know that Netanyahu financed and bolstered Hamas as a way to divide the Palestinians and deter a Palestinian state, right? en.globes.co.il/en/article-f... & www.nytimes.com/2023/12/10/w... & www.timesofisrael.com/mossad-chief... & youtu.be/pB16PMEPuiM

So Biden cannot and should not change his policy? What leverage do voters have to make democratically-elected leaders listen to them? Oh right, their votes and threatening to withhold them. You propose instead that voters choose to die quickly or slowly and painfully. Not HOPE AND CHANGE.

Can you read Senator Sanders and other senators? Instead of talking bullshiat? www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas...

I supported Palestinians for more than two decades, and I couldn't care less what you think. Biden gave bombs that are killing Palestinian children. And preventing legal consequences stopping weapons shipments to Israel. www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas... Why are you defending genocide?

And Biden is the leader of the Democratic party, right? The laws of the United States require stopping weapons to abusers of human rights. (Leahy) And countries blocking US aid (FAA). And 77% of Dem voters. Why are you defending genocide? www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas...

No, they want their families and loved ones not to die from US bombs and famine. Not while the president helps facilitate genocide and diplomacy. Not when that help is illegal and immoral and unpopular with voters. Why are you defending genocide? www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas...

I am not a bot, you ignorant bigot. You're the the comic nic and pfp, you show you're not a bot. Do you care about the DNC losing the votes of youth and those opposed to the war? amp.theguardian.com/us-news/arti...

There are hundreds of thousands of Arab-Americans in Michigan who vote. Listen to Senator Sanders and Congress Ro Khanna. amp.theguardian.com/us-news/arti... Gaza is more important to many young voters than to Biden, who thinks the election is not as important as a preschool soccer match.

I do vote, and am a citizen living overseas. I am also saying that my views are shared with 77% of Democratic voters. And Senator Sanders apnews.com/article/sand... And Congress Ro Khanna amp.theguardian.com/us-news/arti... Ignore us at your peril.

See this poll: 77% of Democratic voters want to stop arming Israel. Also: morally right to stop facilitating war crimes. Also: legally required under US law to stop sending weapons to abusers of human rights (Leahy) and those blocking US aid (FAA). www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas...

Where did I say that? I said Biden can do better and win my vote. If you think that it is wrong to tell politicians to win your vote, then you should not be in the *democratic* party. Look up the meaning of democracy.

Not in the Continental US. But as I mentioned, this is a shared opinion. Lots of voters, and critically also representatives in the DNC, see this as well. Along with Senator Bernie Sanders www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2... And Congress Ro Khanna www.theguardian.com/us-news/arti...

The same opinion is held by 77% of Democratic voters. @johnbrownstan.bsky.social

Biden could win my vote, and that of a lot of other people, by stopping arming Israel with bombs used to kill civilians, women and children. It would the moral thing to do, as well as uphold US laws (Leahy law and the Foreign Assistance Act, section 620I) www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas...

The second party is also telling anyone who wants systemic mass murder with weapons supplied by our taxes that if they really push for the murder to stop or even slow the other guy will win and things will "get worse". So no HOPE AND CHANGE. More "Enjoy the Camps!"

Sorry, was the NYC mayor's spokesman saying that the billionaires whatsapp chat advising the mayor to sic the NYPD on protesters was a "familiar antisemitic trope" my responsibility? www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/...

Yes, definitely a baseless conspiracy theory. youtu.be/db-Gpmfajp8 Not like there was any involvement by the Israeli embassy. Except when there was. No billionaires telling the NYC mayor to sic the NYPD on protesters. Just a "familiar antisemitic trope"? www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/...

Hamas is a vile terrorist organization, and yet the IDF dropped the bombs which Biden supplied. And Netanyahu financed and bolstered Hamas as a way to divide the Palestinians and deter a Palestinian state. en.globes.co.il/en/article-f... & www.nytimes.com/2023/12/10/w...

Gaza estimates from Lancet: "indirect deaths range from three to 15 times the number of direct deaths. Applying a conservative estimate of four indirect deaths per one direct death to the 37 396 deaths reported, it is not implausible to estimate 186 000 or more" www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...

I for one am not refusing to vote for Biden, but saying my vote is conditional on him being more democratic and upholding us laws.
Avatar
I am not arguing their arguments. I say that there are many people who cannot in good conscience vote for supporting genocide, and Biden should (moral, legal, even pragmatic political reasons) change policy to win the votes of Dem voters. My own vote is not critical, but Muslim/Arab/anti-genocide?
Avatar
The framing is wrong if you blame individual voters (in red or blue states, under electoral college) for hesitating before voting for Biden who facilitates genocide, when in a democracy, the leader should reflect voters policy, and the president of the republic must uphold the laws. No?
Avatar
Biden could easily stop sending aggressive weapons to Israel, a policy both legal (oath to uphold US laws, Leahy and Foreign Assistance Act) www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas... and popular, ~80% of Dem voters want a ceasefire and to stop arming Israel. Biden, do better. That's democracy, right?
Avatar
Trump is worse. But Biden delivered bombs to Israel that killed ~40,000 Palestinians. US laws prohibit arming states that abuse human rights and blockade US aid. (Sen Sanders et al, Leahy and FAA §620I) www.sanders.senate.gov/press-releas... Four-fifths Dem voters want to stop arming Israel.
