“He took away abortion and he wants to be a dictator” should be plastered on every surface and blaring out of every speaker.
Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.

I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president. Crazy-making shit.

My dog doesn’t get scared on the 4th of July, she gets angry. Which tbh is nice reminder that there’s more than one right way to feel about things

wait. critic of what?
President Biden's age "may be nothing but a number," our critic Jason Farago writes. "But the perception of his age has become desperately entangled with cultural connotations of elderliness, formed over centuries, handed down to us through religion and literature and art."
Age and the Image of Capacitywww.nytimes.com President Biden’s toughest opponent may not be his predecessor. It is the cultural meaning, built up through centuries, that we assign to being old.

This tweet from the AP is one of the most embarrassing things I've read from a professional news organization in a while. Just indistinguishable from something Trump's campaign would write.

The MTA wants a psychologist to help them stop fare evasion. Hi. I'm a psychologist. I recommend addressing the root cause (e.g. PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD IT). Reducing the cost will likely help. I know that costs money, so here are a few places to consider getting it.. www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/m...
Can a psychologist stop fare evaders? MTA mulls new strategy to save millionswww.nbcnewyork.com Instead of installing gadgets to stop fare beaters, the MTA is considering hiring a psychologist to get into their minds in hopes of “shrinking” the expensive problem.

Interpersonal perception studies - where you study stuff like impression formation, stereotyping, etc. among real people in real social interactions - suffer especially badly from a lack of diversity. @bradleyhughes.bsky.social and I were curious if virtual laboratories could fix that 1/

This is the part I find most perplexing: Search is the crown jewel of Google. It's wild that they're risking its reputation for an unhinged AI feature. They've spent decades building trust in Search. Trust is easy to lose, and hard to regain once you've lost it. It just doesn't seem worth it.
