Yup. It was like an oversized mouse with a scan bar and roller at the front. You had to roll it over your document at a constant slow speed or all you got was a murky blur. The computer guy must have seen us rubes coming in 1997

My first job was writing code to integrate one of those into our labelling software. Ah, the good old days.
