everything except the ability to graphically render a horse. i don't think there's any computer on earth powerful enough to do that yet 1 1 43
There's a Nobel Prize waiting for who can achieve the first "horse render" 5
Reject modernity embrace tradition (a blue linksys WiFi router that absolutely does not work) 26
This is literally still my desktop situation. 1 19

External speakers AND a full white build out?

Apple users: "Mouse buttons?" 8
No floppy drive so it must be fake. 1 7
Also missing the clip on screen filter, inkjet printer and one of those scanners you had to run over documents by hand like a squeegee. 1 3
Did you have one of those handheld scanners? I’ve never know anyone who actually had one. 1 1
Yup. It was like an oversized mouse with a scan bar and roller at the front. You had to roll it over your document at a constant slow speed or all you got was a murky blur. The computer guy must have seen us rubes coming in 1997 1
Dang! I thought they looked so cool in computer shopper magazine. And I’d already used a flatbed scanner at school! 1
My first job was writing code to integrate one of those into our labelling software. Ah, the good old days. 2

No the speakers and monitor were bulker and more annoying than pictured. 3
But our monitors looked like this. 12
hmm looks like the wireless internet router is truly wireless. 2
Wait, where’s the fax machine? 2
2013? More like 2003 jeez 2
I like the toothy grin on the monitor. 1 2
The internet needs to bring back that meme where the computer monitor has the same expression as the user. 1 1 4
yes -
*points at computer mouse top left corner* this is a left click,
