Tangential story: I was an expert witness at a trial where the opposing side's expert witness called the judge "Your Majesty" instead of 'your honor.' I've never heard a courthouse break out in such uproarious laughter. It's the kind of laughter a comedian would want to end a show with.

A few years ago there was a running joke on the left that we called Starmer "Keith".
A supporter of his claimed this was akin to deadnaming Starmer. Turned out although said supporter had thousands of tweets they'd never mentioned trans-people once before.
