Your assumption about my identity is correct, I do not have ancestors that I know of that have experienced genocide. Your assumption about my intentions flies in the face of what I posted. I clearly stated that I have every reason to believe Gaza will get far worse under Trump. 1/2

And almost certainly the West Bank as well to say nothing of Ukraine as well as for any minorities in the US. I'm making a decision based on choosing the fewest people that will suffer from the two choices that can happen. 2/2

In normal circumstances I'd absolutely agree with you, but when the other option is turning America into Nazi Germany 2.0 that starts with over 1,000 nuclear warheads and the most advanced military in the world and are already openly calling for violence? No, we can't let that happen.

Yes he does. However Biden's defeat is only going to make things worse for Gazans and will empower right-wing Israeli politics. I despise what is happening in Gaza but I can also acknowledge that far greater suffering is almost certain if Trump wins, both at home and abroad.

Oh this is definitely something I've done as well, though mostly out of a fear of disappointing or hurting people I care about. I hate lying but I'm also very guilty of doing it when I feel other's reactions will be negative.

also and I feel like I buried the lede here: it calls for the people who CREATE queer media to be imprisoned. That'd be people like me. Or any other queer creator you love. Any queen who's been on drag race. Chappel Roan. Janelle Monae. Anyone who's made a piece of queer media. Imprisoned.

Psst: Project 2025 is terrifying for a lot of reasons but also because on page 5 it calls for teachers and librarians who grant access to books that are maligned as pornography (which just means anything LGBTQ) to be registered as sex offenders. Pass it on.

I pray that even people with great anger towards Biden can realize that the consequences of Trump being elected is going to have a body count on our soil like no American alive has experienced. Purity politics is suicide right now.

I think banning them like Germany did to the Nazis is required. The core of their beliefs is incompatible with democracy and human rights and we need to directly address that. In the past the US has avoided this and we're now reaping the results of our failures.

I'm going to keep beating this drum: just expand the court to 70 to 100 Justices or so so that NO SINGLE JUSTICE matters that much. That's it. That's the plan.
