I think banning them like Germany did to the Nazis is required. The core of their beliefs is incompatible with democracy and human rights and we need to directly address that. In the past the US has avoided this and we're now reaping the results of our failures.

Like if I said "I was literally bored to death during the rally" I don't mean that I actually passed away due to boredom during the rally.
In this case they are quite clearly mocking rallygoers for thinking that their anger is "righteous".

These people, who supported trump through Jan 6th, rape convictions, family separation, Access Hollywood tape, etc etc would like you to believe they are now serious in calling for political decorum & unity. Meanwhile, on the other channel they're calling for the eradication of American "unhumans."
Camps and forced migration are key features *and the actual mechanism of killing* in ethnic cleansing and many, many genocides, just so we all know what we're talking about here.

@nytimes.com isn't the paper of record anymore. "Righteous anger" sounds like they had valid reasons for being angry. "Self-righteous anger" is likely too difficult for them to think to say.
