I'm aware. Hence my point about coalitions.

Left-wing parties banded together in France, even though they disagree over many policies, to push down the fascist right-wingers and keep them from power. It's a template of sorts for what we should do come November.
BREAKING NEWS: Voters turned out in numbers not seen in decades to stop the far-right National Rally from taking power in the French National Assembly. Polls predicted a first-place finish for National Rally, which instead came in third in initial results as polling stations closed.

Zoe's music is great! I didn't know she did that show. She's here on Bluesky, too.

Please don't. The whole point of that post was that kids who don't know any better are using it like it's always right.

I do miss seeing Longs Peak and Meeker out my window. But we don't get Chinook winds here, or blowing dust, so it's kindof a wash.

Parhelia and halos are very common! People just don't tend to look at the sky much. I *always* do, so I see lots of things like this.

My wife and I left Colorado one year ago today. Seems simultaneously like both a long time ago and yesterday, but The Time Knife cuts both ways, doesn't it?

Really nice circumhorizonal arc today! Similar to a rainbow, light from the Sun is refracted by ice in citrus clouds, and the geometry forms a straight line above the horizon.

Apropos of nothing, I love when a classical music piece slowly builds energy to a frenetic, driving motion; barely constrained chaos that sets my heart pounding and my blood nearly to a boil. Khachaturian's 3rd Symphony starts off languid but oh my, don't be fooled. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKCt...
