This is written like an exaggeration to make a point but it is actually just a clearly worded statement of the mainstream GOP position

let’s all turn down the rhetoric and try to remain cool and clearheaded as we discuss the best way to build concentration camps for the 20 million people we have sworn to deport because they’re poisoning our national bloodstream.

WSJ this morning. lol at the last bit. "Leaders on both sides need to stop describing the stakes of the election in apocalyptic terms. Democracy won't end if one or the other candidate is elected. Fascism is not aborning if Mr. Trump wins, unless you have little faith in American institutions."

Anyway, happier thoughts—here’s a flowerbed I’ve been working on.

This was the last decade for this, really. It sort of limped along with, I don’t know, people like Pauly Shore? into the early 90s but dried up pretty quickly. It’s too bad! It was fun.

the 80s had a high density of celebrities whose authenticity was hard to figure out, as a kid. like, was Mr. T a real guy? he was like that in shows/movies but also in interviews? or pee wee, elvira, max headroom, various wrestlers. even alf was on celebrity squares. it was a confusing time.

I know multiple people who would like this.
