Two drinks that are common in Europe at almost every cafe & restaurant while in America are much more rare: espresso and freshly squeezed orange juice. This is one reason (really) that I feel much more at home in Europe nowadays.

It still blows my mind that THIS IS REAL. This is a real photo of galaxies extremely far away. Billions and billions of suns can be seen in this one photo. Totally mind-melting. 🤯🤯

#FlyMeToTheMoon is unexpecredly excellent. It has the magical zip/pop of classic Hollywood, populated by funny, overwhelmingly charming movie stars expertly delivering funny zingers, while amusingly relitigating an American institution. I loved it.

Harrowing af. This is NOT good... At all. And we need to be more combative in response - all of this A.I. is useless and we need to keep emphasizing this point and refuting all the "but it's a tool we can use" bullshit every single day until this bubble finally bursts.

Went to see the kitty movie today - A Quiet Place: Day One. Very good film. It's pretty thrilling that Michael Sarnoski took this A Quiet Place concept and wrote this clever screenplay for it that is minimalistic in many ways yet still big on action & big on heart. More good movies like this please.
