By per chance we started it right before Shogun came on. Was very interesting to see how feudal Japan was shown in both shows.
It is a Max original. So Warner Brothers Discovery would have to green light a 2d season or sell the property to someone who would (like SyFy selling The Expanse to Amazon)
Insiders have said Netflix has the option to order a second season,and encouraged viewers to watch it and make the numbers enticing. I don't care what the structure of that is with rights. I just want another season (or more).
It's the perfect sequel hook. Doesn't leave the main story unresolved, gives you just a hint of what else could be out there in the galaxy, and could let season 2 be whatever it wants, whether it directly follows that last scene or not.
Another show proving distributors are quietly dropping absolute gold buried on streaming with no fanfare whatsoever. That show was so good, but I just stumbled upon it through a random Instagram reel.
I watched the whole thing on ketamine, it was glorious :-) I hope it gets the traction it needs for S2. Reminded me of MTV Aeon Flux and The Maxx a bit.

I don't understand why Max isn't doing a 2nd season.
But then Paramount hobbling Prodigy didn't make sense either.
Or why Max took down Westworld the series (their own original series).
I have been checking every day to see if it's on Netflix Germany but so far no dice. Now that I'm finally in America again guess I know what I have to do.
