and the most common cause of death of pregnant and immediately postpartum people is MURDER because it's such a common time for abusers to kill. So ALREADY it's a huge additional cause of death given all these new abortion bans. Add more barriers to divorce? God help us.

This is a really good point. The president can’t really say, for instance, “Trump appointed Alex Acosta, the guy who got a sweetheart plea deal for Epstein (who trafficked the young girls Trump is accused of raping), to be his labor secretary” in a speech, but it’s true and we should say it.
