Got a covid booster a couple weeks ago for some extra immunity before SDCC. Now I know five people who've gotten covid in the last couple days. Stay safe out there: this thing's here to stay and it can still be dangerous.

Just watched ST VI in 70mm at the Aero theater with Nick Meyer in person and an awesome crowd of trekkies. My son’s first ST movie in theaters- we had a blast!

WTF. The electric company in Texas doesn't have a map of outages so people have been using the Whataburger App to figure out who lost power. This is like when Homer was using the Krusty Burger map when they got lost at sea.

I've got two outlines, two scripts, a pitch and "various" to work on this week. Somehow various always wins.

I’ve seen people responding to this as though either OP is criticizing the child or as a reason to criticize “this generation.” And both of these takes are nonsense. Kids are using ChatGPT this way because this is also how adults are using it, and this is about how it is a dangerously bad tool

It's important to note that in France, yes, a fascist majority was prevented, but they still doubled their presence in parliament. The fascists didn't stay home. They went & voted. It's just that enough decent people showed up to beat them back to a significant degree (& make them cry). SHOW UP.
