Good. Because anyone telling you that our broadcasters should ditch their out of date funding models and emulate the sexy 21st Century streaming platforms clearly hasn’t looked at how all those sexy 21st Century streaming platforms are getting on right now.

Declaring people to be vermin, enemies of the state, or un-human is the sort of language people adopt before they pursue a genocide.
“We will hold investigations to identify the neo-cultural Marxists in seats of power all across Washington,” Posobiec said. “We don’t negotiate with un-humans. Because that’s the stakes of this battle: humanity versus un-humanity.” inthesetimes.com/article/nati...

Right. Like, look how long it took banks to have their own paypal-style apps, or even online banking. Phones coming with a crypto-wallet app was rare and bespoke. Big players are usually slow to move, and buy startups to catchup. But here *every* platform and major site is pushing AI *first*

The Game of Thrones franchise just makes me wish we could get a big budget prestige fantasy TV show that doesn’t constantly throw disturbing shit at you. Give all that money to the people who made Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

A Fafhrd & Gray Mouser series would fit the bill.

A lot of people who work in Actually Useful Generative AI/ machine learning have long thought you can't fix the hallucination problem and it only gets worse, which seems to be playing out.
Yeah, it’s been startling to see how these new generative AI tools appear to have actively degraded from when we all first started being able to use them last year.
