The official 2024 GOP platform makes a reference to "Christian-hating Communists" who the Republicans will keep from entering the country. Back in the early days of the America First movement, "Christian-hating Communists" would have just been a longer way of saying "Jews."

Good to see the new centrist Dem position is to push for right leaning Dem candidates who would have been GOP candidates pre-Trump. Love a good Overton Window.

I’ve been saying since last year that Biden should drop out to let Harris be the nominee. And I worry that if they wait until October they’ll look back fondly on July as the time they really could’ve acted.

Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.
