Ik weet niet welke dingen BDW rookt, maar zijn her-activering van kernenergie is een sterk staaltje wensdenken. - Veiligheid wordt ondergeschikt aan langer openhouden van kerncentrales. - Er komen nieuwe centrales maar geen termijn waarop - fossiele energie wordt afgebouwd op basis van verbruik

Basisidee, economie niet mag leiden onder transitie Leuk maar die transitie gebeurt dus door: veiligheid terug te schroeven, zonder deadline, met een middel wat historisch te duur en complex is zonder incentives. Dit alles maakt dat de transitie vermoedelijk te lang duurt en dus net heel duur wordt

Heel heel dom plan dus.

According to Project 2025, which is the heart of Trump's campaign and platform, if you teach or talk about the existence of LGBTQ people then you are a sex offender and should be imprisoned.

Psst: Project 2025 is terrifying for a lot of reasons but also because on page 5 it calls for teachers and librarians who grant access to books that are maligned as pornography (which just means anything LGBTQ) to be registered as sex offenders. Pass it on.

Frankly I think the fact that our journalists and politicians still uncritically marinate in Twitter all day is having a meaningful impact on the trajectory of US politics. It’s really bad beyond belief. I keep waiting for people to wake up and notice but they’re just totally boiled frogs now

Two months ago Greg Abbott pardoned a murderer who texted a friend "I might go to Dallas to shoot looters" then drove into a BLM protest in Austin and killed a protester. The universal response from conservatives to the pardon was "Yeah! Woo-hoo!" Now they say liberals should turn down the rhetoric
