Burning coal is the most dirty, polluting, and inefficient way to get electricity.
As early as 1306, Edward I banned Londoners from burning it, due to its noxious smog.
So which countries are phasing it out the fastest now?
Greece and the UK lead the way!

Timothy noted that btw. It makes sense they're trying to follow NYT in diversifying from just news (Food, games, their broadcasting deals with TV and radio)
And I think in failing to tell people that we have this belief that as a nation we will eventually get to the morally correct side and that just isn't true. It's how that "arc of the justice" King quote shifted from its origin and now is so removed it's basically used as magical thinking.
I really never do this but WTF. If you follow me even a little bit I have skeeted a LOT about Palestine. Like a lot. I've skeeted shit mainstream news sources have not. I have also skeeted (admittedly less) about Sudan. Like. I've blocked this person but WTF. WTF.
I want to try this so bad every time I go to costco but it has avocado oil for no good reason. LIke I accept that I can't eat guacamole anymore. I am in no way coming for the divine uses of avocado. But this. This is just pandering to wellness culture. USE A NEUTRAL OIL
I said what I said. I've driven "zippy cars" before and I don't actually enjoy them, I've found them stressful to drive. it's really difficult for you to conceive that people can like things you don't like.
Transit is more common than cycling and walking. Also I would refrain from using "popular" because it suggests people LIKE doing a thing when in many places it is structurally the best option. Common is more accurate.
Brevity mostly, or correct grammar. So like here the closed captioning says "alors moi, j'arrête ici pour lui dire" but what he actually said was "j'arrête ici moi le dite" which is wrong
Much of the article reads like an ad. Like using diabetes in this way really really shows ignorance and like just straight up forgetting that they started off as diabetes drugs that they noticed helped some people lose weight. Wegovy is literally higher dose ozempic.
