Amongst everything *waves hands* going on, my neighbours and their families and THEIR neighbours have filled my gardens with their extra perennials. I can’t believe the generosity and kindness they show me in various ways, daily. I am so fortunate. 💫 Ok planting time. Back to reality.

As you know, the death of Twitter has devastated small creators. Would you please reskeet to help me get the word out about my newsletter, The Bugbear Dispatch? Thanks!
When I got the news about the assassination attempt, "I knew there was no American 'unity' coming that would in any way include me as a transgender woman." The first night of the RNC certainly proved that last night, but pundits are still busy scolding Dems www.bugbeardispatch.com/p/america-th...

I don’t like to be indirect. So I’m telling you that I have active cancer and the health care workers refuse to mask. So for the fourth time in a cow I have come home SICK from CHEMOTHERAPY. You can’t tell by looking who is sick. It feels like I’m paying them to kill me. Please wear a mask.

It's shocking how many political "reporters" don't understand, or don't care, what politics actually are. To them, politics is only "political dynasties" and "scandals," drama for detached amusement. They could not care less about the tangible effects politics has on the people & world around them.
One final point. It is notable that Bender describes his upbringing on his page on the Times website as apolitical which, he claims, “made it easier for me to focus on stories engaging readers, not appeasing politicians or any political leaning.” I find this tone of self-congratulation naive./8

My mom just sent me a picture of the waterfall inside Union Station in Toronto. Aka: the stairs inside Union Station leading to the trains. Aka: not actually a water feature, but is a death trap today because of flash-flooding. They left the building when the flooding got worse, so this “isn’t bad”

I’m sorry a Republican voter shot at the Republican leader at a Republican rally, and especially that he killed a Republican rally-goer and injured two more. I wish it didn’t happen, and hope nothing like it ever happens again. I just don’t see how non-Republicans could be the ones to solve it.

In all seriousness: the very idea that someone can take highly classified documents, store them in a public place, defy any number of requests, subpoenas, etc., and then face NO CONSEQUENCES AT ALL is genuinely shocking, and should terrify anyone who cares about national security.
