So. We have a Labour MP for the first time ever (genuinely incredible in this safest of safe Tory seats) so today’s job is to write him a letter about not throwing vulnerable people under the bus. Will his response be less infuriating than every email ever received from his predecessor? Let’s see.
Not to be a Debbie Downer but I would be a whole quantum level more excited about a Labour supermajority if they hadn’t spent the last week showing that they are no friend or haven to minorities. Just shameful behaviour.
Keir Starmer, the future prime minister, explicitly saying that trans women don’t have the right to use women’s toilets, which we have always been using, is giving the green light for people to harass us and do violence to us, as well as to cis women deemed not feminine enough. Don’t vote Labour.
