I think Biden should remain on the ballot, but "We had a primary and the people chose Biden" is an asinine argument. The primary was a rubberstamp. The only other option was Guy Nobody Knows, and he withdrew before most people could vote.

Re: Neil Gaiman. Men who make being morally upstanding the defining feature of their public persona always turn out to be hypocrites. This is as true with progressive values as conservative Christian ones.
