Unpopular Opinion: As long as it's single player and no achievements, I think AAA games should just have a "fuck it" (almost impossible to lose/die) mode for people who can't game well enough to beat them but really want to get the storyline and experience Age + Disabilities has killed my gaming

It goes to show how cooked the UK is politically that a party that's between 16 and 22 points ahead with about a week to go before an election is so afraid of upsetting transphobes that they're going to meet with a billionaire who will presumably dictate their new policy to them.

I'm not complaining, btw. We likely could have got away without paying. We didn't because... i) it was very funny to pay 125 quid a boom when we got to use a huge chunk of Marlowe for free. ii) pay creatives. It was mainly i) but we do like that we did our part to keep the Vengabus running.

I just remembered we (poor indie comic creators) paid the Vengaboys 500 quid to quote the phrase "Boom Boom Boom Boom" in The Wicked + the Divine and AI corporations (venture capital bloated monstrosities) think they can sample the whole of human endeavour and not pay a cent.

It's been twelve years since I painted this guy for Privateer Press' Hordes MkII. I'm still terrible at taking pics of minis, but at least I was smart enough to keep the metal axe (badly painted) out of focus and the gem (comparatively proud of) in focus

No one who's paid the slightest bit of attention could have understood Keir Starmer as anything other than a hard right culture warrior whose job it was to reinstate white supremacy as the Labour Party's racial policy.
