It’s important to focus on what we can affect with our personal choices. It’s annoying but switching to an anti-inflammatory diet, jogging, weightlifting has given me so much more control over my lupus that I have energy and clarity to actually show up for my community in ways I couldn’t before.
For the last four months I've been thinking "why am I feeling so meh" and then I was like "oh right I'm injured and I can't pick up heavy things"
I am starting to be able to pick up heavy things again and none too soon
On the one hand, a second Trump term will probably take years off my life. On the other. I'll probably be working out 2 hours a day 7 days a week to try and keep from thinking about how awful things are.
