I did not expect to see this in the NYT newsletter (I don't subscribe so I don't have the details). That seems oddly... rational of the NYT editorial board, doesn't it?
This is one of those posts. We got a Ninja oven. I put a small batch of Trader Joe’s waffle fries in there as a test run of the “air crisp” function.
They got a little overdone but not carbonized. Forgot to take a “before”, so here’s the “after” pic.
Never were this good in the conventional oven.
So this thread would be your candidate to show up in the dictionary as an illustration of “tantalizing“?

Why in the hell would anyone want to reinvent, and supposedly "improve", the corporate grind? So that employees are "ground finer than ever before"?

I’m not sure what to do here. I’ve been depending on this thermometer and liking how well it works. However, just for grins, I was boiling water for hard boiled eggs, and the probe never went higher than 211.1 when the pot was at a full rolling boil. My faith is shaken.

Ok, what the hell Temu? I can see that the thing on the left is an “Easycount”, but what exactly are you counting and what are you counting it with? And then whatever that is on the right…
