UPDATE: Here's the language of the proposed mask ban bill in Nassau County, NY. It's bad! While health is mentioned, the ban would apply to public places and some private properties, and gives police power to ask anyone to remove their mask.

I'm basically just intermittently walking to the corner & back w/ a tote bag full of bottled water that I've had in the freezer for ~45m+ at a time. If you've got unhoused neighbors, sandwich baggies filled with water & frozen are another great way to keep folks cool & prevent heat-related illness.

I'm not going to post every interaction I have while handing out waters, but I'm sharing some of my experience to encourage others who may have similar capacity. So many folks who've declined followed up with, "but thank you, I appreciate you!" People who need it, take it. & I offer to everyone.

Last I saw the price has been dropped to $250. It really is a stunning (but heavy) piece. I am surprising it hasn’t found its new person yet.

This mirror is still in my parents’ house so they must still be trying to sell it. Think they have dropped the price a time or two. It is incredibly cool (if you like this style). Heavy. Huge. My mom usually put a hat on the woman that is part of the mirror.
