Oh my F***ING GOD. Absolutely outrageous. And under Trump, we came within one vote in the Senate to retuning to this. Didn’t even have a new plan in place. Just wanted to repeal this. Just cruel savagery.

Before the ACA: we got a call from a social worker looking for an adoptive family with good health coverage for a baby whose 2 working parents could not afford the surgery she needed for her heart defect. They didn’t want to give up their 3rd child. We said sorry, because we had coverage w a cap.

Every time Trump would read some squinty teleprompter statement about how much he hated racists and Nazis, the Nazis never got mad because they knew *that* was the fake performance for the rubes and the fact that the rubes sometimes clapped like seals for it only made it funnier.

Thing worth bringing up while Walz's service is being discussed: Walz had ear surgery to deal with service-induced issues before retirement, and had to go through a med board to stay in as long as he did. This is not unique. I know literally no military retirees who have a 0% disability rating.
