I feel like some of the Syria problem was because it was difficult to get clear information. Media around Ukraine & Gaza is not what it might be, but with a little effort you can learn a great deal. I feel like with Syria it was much harder to learn what was truly going on.

Which makes the people who were hideously awful on Syria then just doubled down on Ukraine that much more repugnant.

The people who say this would short circuit the moment they saw a blond Syrian.
