If you ever feel like you have too much contempt for the DC opinion class please remember that it can never match their contempt for you www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

not content to simply sit on the story when they got it, the post now is obliged to run journalistic interference on someone else’s publication of it.

The Swerve, which is brainlessly execrable, also won a pulitzer around that time. Might be time to put the Pulitzers down. We can use the stuff my vet used on our cat.

The worst part is that maybe a quarter of Parker's columns are incisive & quotable, meaning I often click when her name pops up. And we're supposed to be tolerant toward NeverTrump conservatives, right? But damn, her bad ones are bad.
Avatar
We don't need to be tolerant of NeverTrump conservatives. They are wildly over-represented in opinion pages.

There are an infinite amount of take-havers in the English speaking world. We never have to put up with the bad ones.

I wrote to WaPo for public apology for not running the flag story. No response. Now I’ve read this opinion piece and I’ve cancelled my WaPo subscription.

Is it professional courtesy that people seem reluctant to place names immediately w/offending articles in these call-out posts? If a pattern of behavior, surely anti-democracy writers shouldn't be rewarded w/untarnished reputations or being granted the obscuring blur of mere credit to the outlet.

She spit on a car. Let me repeat that… she spit on a car. Who does that?

The “life of the party” apparently 🤦‍♀️

She’s the ‘life of the party’ that guys love to date because she’s exciting. They only regret meeting her when she’s burning their clothes on the front yard.
Avatar
Or something else starts burning.
Avatar
also used her security detail to threaten violence against a neighbor she DISAGREED WITH jail, for both of them
Avatar
I don’t know if I would consider that threatening violence but it was definitely intimidation. But, hey, if you’re the life of the party, you can send as many black SUVs where ever you want. Gawd, I hate rich people.

Apparently she could use a filter…

what in the everloving hell does "weaponing" even mean??
Avatar
Also, no one anywhere has ever "weaponed" a flag harder than a Trump supporter
Avatar
Avatar
Someone really forgot to edit it to weaponize didn't they? Strong work Wapo.

It means some dipshit can't even write a coherent sentence in his own native language.
Avatar
Maybe the neighbor doesn’t like her but she has never been a white supremacist to *moi*
Avatar
I bet that 'unfiltered' is the polite word for nasty racist.

Well, Parker's a Stepford MAGAt, so consider the source.
