The Appalachian mountains are older than Saturn's rings by nearly 400 million years - I feel like there's ghosts of the old world in those mountains which is why there's so much folklore and uncanniness about them. The mountains technically extend into Ireland & Africa as they were once connected

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirms that a Columbus, Ohio, police officer detailed to the RNC shot and killed a homeless Black man (earlier reported to be in his early 20s) more than half a mile from the RNC arena. The man was known by the nickname Jehovah and took care of a pit bull named Isis.

Another travel treat we discovered was the Botanical Gardens at Shore Acres State Park in Oregon. With more than 800 rose bushes, 300 dahlias, hundreds of rhododendrons & thousands of annuals & perennials, the gardens provide even more color to the spectacular Oregon coastline. A must see! 🌱
