Can I derail and talk about the larger families push? I have one child. I will only ever have one child. This is highly offensive to a large part of the population. They are vocally opposed to the one and done lifestyle. Parents of multiple children often discriminate against parents with 1 child.

I know they get rolled all the time but for the Times to get rolled by “actually they just want to reclaim the values of Western civilization as they see it … with larger families and fewer immigrants” is the Times putting the 14 words in the paper

I'm not saying the child free don't get a vitriol. I am trying to describe a specific anger aimed at those of us who chose to focus on one child. I have been told you aren't a mom until you have multiple kids, to my face by other parents. No one talks about the rampant small family discrimination.

You know how we're all looking at what we wore and how we cut our hair in the 90s and we're like SCREAM 😳😳😳 That's coming for Gen Z too! Everything they think they do cooler than us now, in 10 and 20 years they'll look at it and die Don't worry about it!

I feel like us millenials need to embrace not caring more in this particular way I do love that we care about a LOT of things because it makes us kinder, but caring whether another generation thinks you're cool is goofy I love Gen Z, they are super weird, but they are no cooler than anyone else

Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them. I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.
