Just saw someone post that they want Biden to lose by a landslide in order to force the Democratic Party to change What year is it? Because I've seen this same argument against Clinton in 2016 and Gore in 2000 A huge loss WOULD change the party, but probably not in good ways

My dad watched four of his siblings die of polio and smallpox before the age of 10, because they didn’t have access to vaccines. Those are aunts and uncles of mine who’d still be alive today, and I would gratefully trade these antivaxxer’s lives for theirs.

My grandmother was a Polio survivor. She would say "Polio victim". As soon as she could get her kids the vaccine, she did it. These asshats are going to get people killed, make children suffer, all because of anti-vaccine rhetoric. *sigh*

FYI, "trial lawyers" here is literally "lawyers who do trials," not "lawyers for injured people." ACTL membership leans corporate / big firm, with some criminal-defense and prosecutors in the mix. Will it matter? Doubtful, but an invitation to ACTL is about as prestigious as legal org stuff gets. 🤷‍♂️
