Police have been shooting dogs with impunity for decades, which doesn’t mean it isn’t news when candidates for higher office start normalizing it in this new way, but does mean the Right is way out ahead of the position you are describing.

There are certain people who obsess over killing as a demonstration of power and contempt. Kristi Noem is clearly one of them. She should be hounded from office & every animal under her control should be removed to safer circumstances.
