And that's why I always say: "we need more people." I never forgot that lesson. My dad was right about appreciating the people who do show up even if it's one person and also about being less self-involved so that you can appreciate what is actually right in front of you.

i broke down a couple times last week and called them skeets, but i did deep breathing exercises and im good now.

Working in the garden before dinner. Pruning back the lilacs, planting some new herbs (thyme and cilantro) along with strawberries and tomatoes. 🌱

Today in my toddler trying to troll me: he kept saying "Clifford the red big dog." Even tho I kept saying, it's size then color! 🤣🤣 #Parenting

Literally yesterday I closed out one of the panels I was on with "don't underestimate the value of being annoying"

Being really annoying is praxis. Phone, email, fax, show up in person if that’s an option. Just don’t let up until you’re too irritating to ignore.
