Well this is grim

The party looked great. There were kids and adults and good smells and good music and a lot of foil-wrapped plates. Everyone left around 8:00 and no one set off any fireworks. We're 99% sure our neighbor was in prison for 3-4 months earlier this year, so it was nice to see him having fun.

My neighbor has fired up the smoker and is inflating a bouncy water slide and even though I'm not invited, I'm delighted.
