I remain incredibly angry about how Twitter’s old utility as a key resource for info on disasters has been almost completely destroyed. I suspect we’re only just beginning to understand the full impact of that.

I am not sure if it's Elons Twitter grift or the bots, but it's wild how quickly trends and hashtags went from being useful for fire/life/safety or news to just a freakshow of nonsense and lies.
