It’s rote to say, but in no way could I ever see Trump making the same statement about any of his kids. Like he will immediately go “I don’t k ow who that is. I have never talked to them”.

Once when he was advised that his financial shenanigans was creating a capital gains nightmare for when he passed, he simply said, “fuck the kids.”

I fully expect him to pass all of his money on to a trust that forces the kids to do incredibly offensive and demeaning things to earn each payment. Or worse - give it all to one kid and make them fight that one kid for their share.

That’s a good statement. It reminds me how I cried in my car when I heard that the networks were calling the election for Biden because I was so relieved that a decent man that genuinely seemed to care about other people would be president.

Palestinians apparently don't qualify as "other people" since Biden is comfortable sending weapons for them to be murdered, and gives diplomatic cover while they are starved to death. But sure, he wrote a letter for his son.

Amateur statement. There are no random ALL CAPS words. Or accusations of witch hunts. Just the compassion of a father and the professionalism of a leader. Clearly he needs a better PR team.

Irony died when Republicans - who want no gun laws, hate gun registration, and who almost all lie on their federal application forms - didn't take a stand and say that prosecuting Hunter Biden for this crime is a travesty of justice.

The thing they are saying that Hunter Biden did wrong was lie on this question. Which, fair enough, he should probably be prosecuted for but lets not pretend for a minute that they wouldn't raise hell if a republican was prosecuted for this.

Serious Trouble has done several explainers on the case and how unusual it is to be prosecuted as a standalone crime. Usually these types of crimes are charged along with drug crimes or crimes of violence.
