Apparent gunshots reported at Trump rally in Butler, PA, just now. Trump's ear appears bloodied as he's taken off-state.
In the video, Trump is speaking, then there are some pops, then Trump touches his head, then everyone jumps on the ground.
He pumped his fist a few times while leaving.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow”
Secret Service spox:
"An incident occurred the evening of July 13 at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe. This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available."
Butler County DA Richard Goldinger tells me Trump was grazed by gunfire but is safe. An audience member was killed and the shooter is dead. Another person is in serious condition. — Meryl Kornfield, WaPo

In this wild interview with the BBC, a bystander claims he and his buddies saw the shooter, with rifle, crawling on a rooftop overlooking the rally.

Immediately after shots were fired, the crowd turned on media, channeling their anger toward reporters standing inside the press pen.

The White House says that President Biden has now spoken to former President Trump, as well as Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro and Butler mayor Bob Dandoy
Seems reasonable. The USSS is supposed to take the investigative lead on assaults of their "clients," but the USSS also did not secure that rooftop (*maybe*). Something is out of whack.
