The White House announces that President Biden will speak at the LBJ Library on Monday, July 15 (as the GOP convention opens), for the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. He will also speak at the NAACP convention in Vegas. Both are WH events, not campaign events. (via Semafor, NewsNation)

I am going to take every hit piece NYT did on Biden, and replace "president Biden" with "the New York Times."
NYT says their performance on Threads today was an aberration, & not indicative of deeper problems they've had with social media. Unfortunately, that hasn't satisfied many observers whose concerns are growing louder. The stakes are too high. For the good of the news, the Times should step aside

The story of the French election is not the left compromising to back the center and stop the far right. That's arguably the story of Macron's presidential election, but not this. The story of this parliamentary election is left and center both compromising to stop the far right.

Part of the reason is b/c the French left know what actual fascism is. They're not like American "leftists" who don't know shit & don't do shit to expand freedom for working folks.

what drives me up the wall is that the very thing that hobbled him in the first 15 of the debate — trying to cram in a ton of facts and figures and references that he clearly committed to memory over the previous few days — is a thing that people who actually have dementia normally can't do well.

Dems should run ads just showing this, then slowly zooming in on "end recreational sex"
I really don’t think most people realize just how hard the boot will come down if Trump and the Republicans win the election. Most people have never experienced the totalitarian surveillance state with the power to reach into their homes and minds at will they are telling us is their plan.
