Prices have found themselves meandering steadily upwards, worrying customers and store owners alike. Following the decline in sales, some store owners are taking action to lower what some have called “unfairly high, exploitative prices”
I'm generally not big I'm calling for her Congressional hearings but when the entire nation's food supply is being manipulated I think maybe some people need to start answering.
I saw the recent announcements described as a method to fight inflation. Like inflation was just a thing that was happening TO them instead of a thing they were part of creating.

Love to go to a food bank and see all the moldy food that places like Trader Joe's donate. One time I went and they had a bunch of watermelons, and you could take as many as you wanted... because they were so soft that poking them was like poking a water balloon. 💀But we should be grateful, yeah?
I wonder if it’s because their pals in some industry or other that depends on disposable income started complaining about having fewer customers? Either that, or the threat of a big fat lawsuit.
What? The consumer has actual POWER? I thought all those massive stock buy-backs and CEO compensation packages were supposed to insulate Big Business (and the Billionaire White Boys' Club) from all that nonsense!
