Imagine the different buckets of people more likely to vote for Trump, people indifferent, and people who won't say it out loud kinda wish it would have gone differently and guess which bucket is largest.
And also that something like a 46-43 poll result means inherently that one candidate is going to get 3% more, when you have to account for all the undecided voters. I'd be a lot more worried if trump were polling 49% with a bunch of undecideds still left to grab.
Latest reports I've seen are that Biden reached out via phone directly to the family that lost their dad and Trump has just mentioned them in a not tweet.
I don't put a lot of stock in it, but Biden is slowly moving up in the 538 rankings. Small movements for sure, but its really hard to justify Hail Mary actions given that.
I do wonder if maybe there were a bunch of freelancers (everyone who spoke out) and then pelosi trying to organize something but not speaking out publicly until it was successful.
