That dog won’t hunt.
Looks like the dog-whistle politics worked.

Also that kind of stress is really bad for health. Giving himself a heart attack from stress is plausible.

There's one photo with the bullet in the air just past trump's head.

No, its the basic formula for the definition of a derivative.

If I had an orange cat named Jonesy I don't think I could resist telling him "and you, you little shithead, you're staying here" literally every time I left the house

Imagine the different buckets of people more likely to vote for Trump, people indifferent, and people who won't say it out loud kinda wish it would have gone differently and guess which bucket is largest.

I know a certain homeless services organization with an Amazon wishlist www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...
I have no love lost for Amazon but a reminder, a lot of nonprofits have Amazon wishlists and Prime Day can be great for them. Check on your local fave

And also that something like a 46-43 poll result means inherently that one candidate is going to get 3% more, when you have to account for all the undecided voters. I'd be a lot more worried if trump were polling 49% with a bunch of undecideds still left to grab.

The news cycle of assignation attempt, trial dismissal, Vance as VP was the pace and feel of everything for the 4 years trump was president.

Trump seems to have a floor of 44%, but a ceiling of 47%.

Its not so much that a lot of people want to kill him, its that way too many voters think in the back of their mind "I wish one would get it right"

Man what a time to mix up names.

Latest reports I've seen are that Biden reached out via phone directly to the family that lost their dad and Trump has just mentioned them in a not tweet.

Politics relying on a base level of shame as an underlying institution was a mistake.

Shooting your party in the foot to accomplish your goal is really bad long term strategy.

She certainly could make it clear that she's not behind it.

Well, and you don't want to risk something like a weird legal problem with the change means that the old rules apply again suddenly.

Shitting on the party publicly is so stupid.

I don't put a lot of stock in it, but Biden is slowly moving up in the 538 rankings. Small movements for sure, but its really hard to justify Hail Mary actions given that.

Big "hold my breath until I pass out" energy.

And that one guy even ran on the theory of "I'll be like biden but not old" and got trounced. Its really hard to convince me to toss the primary.
Avatar
Yeah, the fact that everyone is really really tired of Trump craziness matters.

Haven't looked this year, but in past years prime day has really felt like amazon cleaning up old stock that was kinda crappy. Real garage sale feel.

I do wonder if maybe there were a bunch of freelancers (everyone who spoke out) and then pelosi trying to organize something but not speaking out publicly until it was successful.

4) the people trying to organize the drop out caucus are the most disorganized parts of the democratic caucus.

More a knife than a saw. But yes.
