This is a big reason there will never be a better chance to flip both statehouses in Arizona. We're almost 75% of the way to our 2024 goal of picking up those four key seats. www.grapevine.org/giving-circl...

I don't think ppl grasp this when they indulge this histrionics demo. Whoever the Dem is will run against the most unpopular public figure of our lifetimes. He is arguably the worlds most loathed human being. You lot losing the plot are smoking crimes if you think age matters more than despicability
Oh god, I have to knock doors in Glendale again I hate Donald Trump with the fire of 10000 suns

A widely predicted victory for the far right in France has instead turned into a victory for the left *because people turned out in record numbers to vote.* Defeat is not inevitable and more progressive elected officials means more progressive policies.
In France, the left coalition comes in first, Macron second, the far-right third. The best way to defeat fascism is not centrism, it’s a strong left.

there are many reasons we need to win in the fall, but one of them is that i simply am not going to abide by letting both the brits and the french lecture us
*MACRON'S GROUP PROJECTED TO WIN MORE SEATS THAN FAR RIGHT *LEFT ALLIANCE SET FOR 170-215 SEATS IN FRENCH VOTE: ESTIMATES *LE PEN'S GROUP SET FOR 110-158 SEATS IN FRENCH VOTE: ESTIMATES *FRENCH LEFT SET FOR SHOCK ELECTION VICTORY, PROJECTIONS SHOW

two takeaways, which are supported by political science evidence: 1. attempting to co-opt the far right from the center is bad and not beneficial electorally (this is what Macron did) 2. a left-center collaboration specifically to stop the far right is good and can work electorally quite well

The cybertruck cannot fail, it can only be failed.
Oh well of course that makes sense that the Cybertruck run delivered 3 months ago on the vehicle launched 8 months ago was one of the bad ones unlike all the other ones which are bad in different ways

Breaking news: The first projections after polls closed in France’s legislative election put a leftist alliance in the lead, as the populist, anti-immigration far right falls behind and performs far below expectations.

The 2024 Mandate for Leadership is much more radical than even the 2016 edition. It is the only significant policy planning document by any Republican-aligned organizations. We have no reason to believe that it won't guide a second Trump Admin's agenda. static.project2025.org/2025_Mandate...

After his halting performance at a debate against Donald Trump, President Biden’s senior aides face worries among fellow Democrats and sharp accusations from Republicans that they took steps to conceal the effect the president’s aging has had on his ability to carry out his duties.
Debate brings scrutiny of whether aides shielded signs of Biden’s agingwww.washingtonpost.com Biden, aides now grappling with accusations they strongly reject that they were not candid with the public about how his age impacted his ability to do the job.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if press laser focused on GOP policies the way it did on theater criticism? -if it’s not Project 2025 then what is it? -do they reject whole thing or parts? - do they promise not hire any Heritage people as staff? -what then are their views on these issues?

Democrats can’t get coverage or credit for their policies, GOP runs from theirs and denies them.

How dare you say this about our next Secretary of State.
We talk about Tuberville a lot, but this terrible former UConn quarterback becoming a powerful evil person is way more dystopian. We EXPECT a mediocre Auburn coach to become a GOP sen. But there's no pipeline from "6.1 yards per throw in the Big East" to "professionally entrapping homeless people"

12/ Here is a BIG one ... basically get rid of accreditation or any academic standard for access to IV funds (federal student aid), and have financial and administrative capacity as the primary qualifier for access to aid! This opens the door to rip-off schools. This is the TRUMP UNIVERSITY plan.

5/ Treat students loans explicitly as an opportunity to make money for the "taxpayer," privatize the loan system, and roll back nearly all loan forgiveness programs. Basically treat student loans not as financial aid but as an income stream for the banks and government.
