I really hate single player games. Games that are complete before DLC drops. Games that had at least minimal QA done before they were released on PC. Games that are released on GOG on Day 1. I really hate all that shit. Can't fucking stand it. Enrages me.
Believe it or not, I was solely responsible for forcing gaming companies to stop all instances of characters smoking cigars or putting an 18+ mature label.
Wildly off topic and probably nothing you can do about it, but one of the ads that loads on your article is forcing the page to load a "security warning look out virus."
Have I ever mentioned how much I totally hate the TimeSplitters series and would go ballistic if they reformed Free Radical and made another one? Just apoplectic with rage.
"Sadly, I showed Bethesda a picture of Marjory The Trash Heap from Fraggle Rock and demanded companies only use her ever. That was me, I can admit that."
I think I'm gonna make a new follower mod for skyrim
I don't give a shit about "woke", but I will never cease to be angry that someone thought it was a great idea to make Doom Eternal a fucking platformer. I don't play platformers. That's why I play fucking Doom.
The platforming was unnecessary but didn't bother me as much as every fight being the same fight across both of the modern games. Guessing it's not going to change for #3 coming up.
The next Call of Duty game Will make you sit through a 2 hour lecture on war videogames desensitizing people to actual violence, basically a shot for shot remake of the back half of metal gear solid 2, BUT WITHOUT THE TWINK
LOL, it won’t help.
Woke, asleep, in a coma, the execs will swoop in and screw things up with layoffs and “revenue repurposing,” no matter what.
The gaming companies are hopelessly broken (more than movies or tv, ironically) and deeply lame.
Total waste of time. Drop it like a hot rock.
Oh wait, now it's my PC/McAfee that's broke, as well as my MAC. New redirect every time I try to read, all scams. Think someone hacked the website or whatever.
Gotta write the counterpoint where game nerds demand endless, minuscule progression systems that require constant pausing to use the slowest loading menus and make every game 120 hours
No! Please! Dont fill entirely adequate fantasy turn-based tactics/ARPG with painfully bad "comedy" because it worked 30 years ago in Dungeon Keeper! Please!! I am begging you!!!
Favourite bit.
"If anything, you should be thanking me for personally forcing game companies to put in all that stuff you hate. I’m the one who gives you energy in the morning. It’s certainly not your family; your ex took them with the dog."
LOL'd.
