The primary voters knew his age when they voted for him. This is a ginned up controversy to get gullible people who don’t understand how party politics work angry, in hopes of peeling voters away from Biden/Dems, and it’s disgusting how the NYTimes is driving it with non-stop coverage.
Is there anybody over there in your board who realizes that there was a primary and that Joe Biden won that primary and that it’s pretty standard that the person who wins the primary becomes the nominee?
What they're promising is the maximalist worst case form of what folks think it might be. Vance confirms it rather than enhancing it as such, but it's the same package
If elected, their admin will be terrible, violent, and antithetical to the system of government US folks have had in living memory
This is such a damning condemnation of the modern conservative project and almost nobody is hearing about it, let alone somebody out there making that point.
Yep. They want the profits from, but not the costs of, operating at scale. It’s human nature, but it’s wrong and it is why regulatory agencies are necessary.
When you see the way the press is treating Joe Biden for aging in public, you see how they could treat Donald Trump for committing fraud, rape, espionage, and insurrection and never, ever will.
Final thought: STOP LISTENING TO THE POLITICAL PRESS
They do not have your best interests at heart, full stop. They want to make money off your fear. They're too ignorant to even have a survival instinct--do they think they won't be targeted in a Trump dictatorship?
If Biden has unique weaknesses not shared by other Democrats they aren’t showing up in polls. Only Harris polls roughly even with him. An open convention is a terrible idea
People really discount the extent to which The Squad are incredibly talented politicians, and mostly because they're young, women, and not white. But they've been more effective at getting policy positions across than most of their senior colleagues...
This is excellent. The “coup” of getting more votes than your opposition. It would be hilarious if so many gullible people didn’t take these morons seriously…
Every Dem publicly calling for Biden to step down needs to look at this and realize they’re playing into the hands of Trump. He WANTS Biden to step down, you can tell he does because he claims he doesn’t, but also because they’re already message testing against Harris like this.
News Analysis: When Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies, the U.S. was confronted with a historical novelty: a felon who once held the highest office in the land. Will the label actually tarnish Trump, as it has so many people over the centuries?
Biden has a bad debate night: calls to step down
Documents released that show two underage women accused Trump of raping them on Epstein’s island, under oath: total media silence except in a few blogs and foreign news
The media double standard is incredible to see
Seriously, all these chucklefucks out there clutching their pearls over the debate would be doing a lot more to defeat Trump if, instead of harassing their party’s nominee to step down, they spent their energy demanding investigations of and resignations from those 6 SCOTUS traitors.
That is my thinking, too. The SC went out of its way to proactively empower Trump and subject us to his worst instincts. Does Biden have a responsibility to use (no, abuse) that power instead? I wish I was kidding, but I’ve been thinking about it for the last 24 hours, like, a lot.
This decision honestly begs the question of whether, if Trump is elected, Joe Biden should use the presidency for drastic measures - including to try to overturn the results? Obviously they intend for Trump, not Biden, to use the decision but given the timing it may seem rationale not to comply.
