That's the thing. It's horrible to say that about the Israeli, so I am not going to do it even for rhetorical reasons, but that also means it's horrible to say about the Palestinians.

Delete the clause about Ukrainians, replace the word "Palestinians" with "Ukrainians," replace "Israel" with "Russia," and replace "Arab states" with, say, "central and eastern European nations," and perhaps the editors would have realized that this op-ed advocates ethnic cleansing
