...and i can totally see that when people were faced with evidence that the world is very much NOT solved, it usually went one of two ways for people: either blame all these "new" ideas for destroying this illusory world, or sigh and get stuck into social justice and stuff

The fact that the Secret Service didn’t cover nearby rooftops and let Trump stick his head up and strike a pose while there was still a possible active shooter reminds me of how the Trumps charged them to stay in their hotels and wouldn’t let them use their bathrooms, and I think they remember too.

Just suspicious timing that this happened right after Alec Baldwin got off scot-free on that other shooting rap, that’s all.

I think that, having come face to face with political violence, Trump is going to come out of this a changed man and turn down the temperature on the rhetoric for the good of the country.

Just putting it out there that Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer and is undoubtedly familiar with the concept of “gigging” or “getting color” to “sell an angle.”

The greatest wrestling stable of all time would have to be the Heenan Family, which included Ric Flair, Lex Luger and the Brain Busters (Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard), if only we could have seen them all together at once.

I pulled off my greatest feat as a playlist maker by making a version of the Beach Boys’ late period album Still Cruisin’ that is merely mediocre instead of terrible. And then—and this is key to enjoying it—I listened to the Minutemen’s Double Nickels on the Dime instead.
